Amethyst has impacted the lives of over 10,000 women in need since 1984 by providing safe and sober housing, addiction treatment services, and economic independence for women in Central Ohio. 

Portraits of Recovery, our annual awards ceremony and fundraiser is held each spring to acknowledge individuals and organizations that support the homeless and recovery communities, to honor the countless women who have found recovery through Amethyst, and to generate additional funding for the Amethyst gender-specific treatment program. This event highlights the tumultuous passageway to recovery and the many lives each individual’s journey impacts.
