Your support makes a difference!

The generous support of our friends assists our efforts to help women with addiction-related problems and their families begin new lives in recovery.

There are a number of ways in which you can help:

Volunteers from Soroptimist International of Columbus & Franklin County recently set up kitchens in several Amethyst apartments to create a warm and welcoming environment for women who move into housing. With grant funds received from their international organization, they generously donated countertop appliances, microwaves, dish and glassware sets, pots and pans, silverware, flatware, miscellaneous utensils and decorative items to Amethyst. They will set up a few more kitchens later this spring. Thank you to our friends at Soroptimist International Columbus & Franklin County for your continuing generosity to benefit the women served at Amethyst.

We are sincerely grateful to Sharon Foster, standing at center, and the Grand Temple Pythian Sisters of Ohio for their generous donation of $10,000 to Amethyst, which was presented at the annual Friendship Dinner held on September 2nd. The organization raised funds throughout the year to benefit Amethyst’s treatment program for women and the SummerQuest day camp for children of Amethyst clients.
